GoldLocker is an invitation-only marketplace for vintage gold and silver bars. Every bar sold through it is mailed in by the seller, opened and authenticated on camera, and forwarded to the buyer.
Most marketplaces verify the seller and promise a refund if something is wrong. GoldLocker verifies the bar. A vintage bar is inspected in person, on camera, before it is listed, and the intake record travels with it to the buyer. Attribution of a maker, era or variety is expert opinion, not a guaranteed claim, and every published fact in our reference material carries the source it was taken from.
Alongside the marketplace, GoldLocker publishes two free resources: The Assay, a monthly letter on the gold, silver, platinum and palladium markets, and The Reference Room (opening soon), a sourced reference to the refiners and mints behind vintage bars.
